NOTICE: Due to rising hosting fees, and the sales of the "Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt Price Guide" that I've recently published, this section will no longer contain values for Treasure Hunts. While this was a tough decision on my part, please understand that I have to respect those who have purchased and supported the guides. It didn't make sense to offer a publication for sale AND carry the same values on the website. Royalties from the books are helping offset hosting fees as well. REST ASSURED that all other Hot Wheels values on NCHWA.com (with the exception of the VW Buses), will continue to be listed as a free service. This section will still be maintained to show all of the Treasure Hunt releases to at least provide a pictorial record and reference.

The "Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt Price Guide" is updated and issued annually, and can be purchased in a full-color or economy Blackout version at Amazon or Barnes & Noble's websites, or by going to my Amazon Author Page. Overall, there are 50 pages, and values for Treasure Hunts during the period of 1995-2015. All values are researched/verified just one month before publication.

And, the big change for 2016: ALL MODELS ARE NOW PICTURED! You'll get a complete gallery, along with the updated values. Thanks for all the amazing support!

In 2013 (and for the first time since the line's inception in 1995), Mattel dropped the "Green Stripe" from the Regular Treasure Hunts. This continued into 2015. As with the $uper TH's, the Regulars are now "hidden" within the line, and you'll have to really look closely to spot them! There will be a tiny "chase" symbol, and the card will read "This symbol lets you know that this vehicle is hard to find and highly collectible." Keep a sharp eye out!

Quoted values are for CARDED, NM examples. Cards less than NM will obviously command a lesser value than listed, depending on overall condition.

Note that the NCHWA utilizes a pricing method called "Star Value©." Instead of specific dollar values, each car will be assigned a Star Value© to indicate rarity and potential price range. There are simply too many variables to place a "set" value on any model, so a range will be used instead to indicate where that particular model may fall on the secondary price scale. A +/- indicates where on that scale the value is approximated, while a number by itself would indicate the value falls in the middle of the Star Value. This is also an easy quick-glance method to determine rarity; the higher the number, the rarer the car. The value chart will be placed at the bottom of each page.

Option: Click the button to the left to download a printable copy of the Star Chart for easy reference (Microsoft Word or equivalent program required for viewing or download). It beats scrolling up and down when you're pricing your cars!

*NOTE on the #10 Lancer Evolution $uper TH in ZAMAC:
There is considerable debate on this one, as it appears to have been "assembled at the Malaysia factory" by a rogue employee, then sold as a legitimate variation by that same employee. Take this one as you will, as it's "technically" made in a Mattel factory, but with ill-conceived intentions as a money grab by said employee. Hopefully, this clears up in the near future. Going forward, be very leery of "rare variations" and ensure you ask all of the necessary questions and do your research. I hesitate to list this one at all, as I don't want to lend credence to these types of factory shenanigans.

1 = $1-5 2 = $6-15 3 = $16-25 4 = $26-35 5 = $36-50 6 = $51-70
7 = $71-90 8 = $91-110 9 = $111-130 10 = $131-160 11 = $161-180 12 = $181-200
13 = $201-220 14 = $221-240 15 = $241-270 16 = $271-300 17 = $301-330 18 = $331-350
